Snakeskin
Snakeskin is what my husband calls my Peruvian sweater, as it fits so tightly and the pattern reminds him of snake skin, so this is its name now.
Finally, I have taken photos of my Fair Isle in progress. As you can see the body is finished. The shape is a bit akward at present, because the steeks haven’t been cut yet.
I have knitted about 2/3 of the first sleeve. As it is a capped sleeve, I do it from the bottom up and sew it in afterwards.
I am really looking forward to finishing it. As soon as I have finished this sweater I will embark on another Fair Isle project and show you step by step how I do it. Probably sometime around Mid-October.

Schlangenhaut
So nennt mein Mann meinen Peruvian Pulli, weil er so eng sitzt und ihn das Muster an Schlangenschuppen erinnern. So findet sich ein Name für ein Projekt.
Endlich habe ich den Fair Isle auch mal fotografiert. Im Moment sieht er sehr komisch aus, da die steeks noch nicht geschnitten sind. Die Ärmel stricke ich von unten nach oben, da sie mit Armkugel sind. Etwa 2/3 habe ich vom ersten Ärmel geschafft.
Ich freue mich richtig auf die Fertigstellung dieses Pullis. Danach möchte ich noch einen Fair Isle stricken und dabei Schritt für Schritt zeigen, wie ich vorgehe. Also so etwa ab Mitte Oktober gibt es hier einen Fair Isle Kurs.
